Our research team are conducting a survey of to discover more about financial hardship among LGBTQ+ 50+ people living in London. It is becoming increasingly evident that, for many older LGBTQ+ people, later life is characterised by financial and material precarity. Despite this, there is little research to date on this important issue.
We have created a survey to help gather this evidence, and to help bring about change, and this is why I am contacting you.
We are reaching out to ask if you would be interested in publicising our survey in order to help us reach as many older people from all sections of London’s LGBTQ+ community as possible. The survey is available in both paper and web-based form.
If you are able to help with the survey, or you have any questions regarding the project, please contact me at rhiannon.mendes@openingdoors.lgbt
