Mike is part of the LGBT+ community - though not trans - and is shocked at how the situation has got so much worse for trans people. Negativity in the media and by politicians, as well as even longer waiting lists. He would like to talk to anyone who is on a waiting list for a gender clinic. If you don't want to talk on camera that is fine. If you prefer just to write about your experience and the emotions it has engendered that would be fine. He can keep it anonymous and have an actor voice it for you. I believe that (unlike so many journalists we hear about) he is totally trustworthy.
