Britons and Gender Identity

Britons and Gender Identity: Navigating Common Ground is a research project that has just been published. It claims to be an in-depth analysis of the British public's attitudes to gender identity and trans equality. The conclusion is that the divisive approach taken by the Government in Parliament, and social media is not typical of ordinary British people. It would seem that most people want a 'live and let live' approach to trans people, and not blanket bans. This is reassuring, but we still have some way to go in raising awareness and understanding.
