Call for participants interested in taking part in NHS research regarding the proposal to reduce the cost of HRT prescription medication by April 2023*

New systems are currently being developed by the NHS Business Services Authority (BSA) to enable individuals to pay less for their HRT prescriptions. To ensure that these systems meet user needs, the BSA are currently looking to speak with users of licenced HRT medication of various ages and physical/digital ability, who currently pay for their prescription medication (full-price or via prescription prepayment certificate).

The research sessions are a mix of an exploratory interview of individual experience of HRT (collecting, paying for, managing the prescription)/ their expectations of the new way to pay for HRT and usability testing, during which individuals run through and comment on a prototype of the online system that individuals will use to purchase reduced cost HRT.

The feedback provided by those that participate in this research will be fed back to the development team creating this system, meaning your insight could have a real impact on a future NHS service that you may use one day.

Research sessions last about an hour and are conducted online – via Teams or Zoom.

Individuals who take part in this research are given a GiftPay voucher as a thank you for their time.
