Would you like to help Ella with her clothing project?

I'm part of a project focused on addressing the clothing needs of gender non-conforming people, and hoped you would please help by sharing some insights?

Our team is in the process of putting together a business case for a start-up dedicated to producing clothing and foundation garments for gender non-conforming people. We're motivated by our own challenges in finding clothes and want to be insight-led, designed by and for GNC people. But we’re a small team, and we want to represent the spectrum of gender expressions as fully as possible, so we’re looking to speak to people who have the experience of shopping beyond the binary, to identify common challenges in finding clothing: those are the challenges we want to help solve.

Would you have time for a quick call to share your insights on a few questions? Or if you know someone among your service users who might be interested in contributing, that would be fantastic. I assure you, we'll keep it concise and confidential.

Thank you so much for considering this.

All the best,

Ella: morphosis.clothing@yahoo.com

I had a real fun chat with Ella this morning (March 5th) discussing issues and difficulties finding clothes and shoes to fit my 6’3” frame and size 11 feet. I was able to share good experiences with Ella which, hopefully,, will help her with this project. I would urge anyone who has experienced issues, difficulties or even just wants to report on successes to get in touch with Ella.
I’m sure lots of you have stories to tell about charity shops, internet shopping, high street stores and I’m certain, too, that there are people amongst our members who are getting round the issues by making their own clothes; maybe Ella could help you develop you skills into a niche business making clothes for the rest of us.
Please do contact Ella if you feel you might have experiences that will help her.
